A short video on social media made me stop and ask a much bigger question: When did we become so afraid to let people know they matter?
Living with a lifelong health condition, spending years in hospitals, and losing people I loved far too young has taught me that tomorrow isn’t guaranteed. It has also taught me that kindness, appreciation and genuine connection are never things we regret.
