You don’t have to bear it all alone 💫

Lately, I’ve sensed a deeper energy moving through — and I’m not alone in this.

There’s a current that encourages us to go inward. To truly examine the anxieties that have been quietly simmering beneath the surface. For many of us, they’re no longer silent.

  • Old emotions are resurfacing.
  • Old patterns are being highlighted.
  • Aspects we thought we had moved beyond are gently (or not so gently) asking for recognition.

I’ll be honest — I’ve felt this intensely over the past couple of weeks.

Anxiety I thought was long gone has returned.
Attachment wounds I believed were “resolved” have been knocking at my door once again.

Instead of judging these feelings, I’ve chosen a different approach.

I’m meeting them with curiosity.

I’m discovering that these parts of me — the anxious thoughts, the need for reassurance, the fear of loss — were never meant to harm me.

They were here to protect me.

At one point in my life, these patterns provided safety.
They helped me navigate moments when I felt insecure, unseen, or ungrounded.

Even now, when anxiety arises, it’s still attempting to fulfill its role.

But the truth is — I am no longer in danger.

And perhaps you’re not either.

So rather than resisting it, I’ve been learning to gently tell my body:

“Thank you for trying to protect me… but I’m safe now.”

This is where self-soothing has become crucial for me.

  • Not as a means of escaping my feelings — but as a way to support myself through them.

Here are some practices that have been helping me reconnect with myself:

✨ Tapping (EFT)
When anxiety feels overwhelming, tapping helps regulate my nervous system and restore a sense of safety. Even a few minutes can create a shift.

✨ Meditation
Not to “clear my mind,” but to spend time with myself. To observe my thoughts without becoming them. To remember that I am the awareness behind it all.

✨ Journaling
This has been significant for me. Allowing everything to flow out — the messy thoughts, fears, and patterns. Getting it out of my head and onto paper helps me see it clearly… and with greater compassion.

✨ Sea Salt Baths
There’s something profoundly grounding and cleansing about water. I use this time to release energy that isn’t mine, to soften, and to reconnect with my body.

✨ Talking to Someone
Whether it’s a trusted friend or someone who can hold space for me — being heard is important. We’re not meant to navigate everything alone.

✨ Turning to Spirit / God (what ever you believe in)
This has been my anchor. Surrendering what feels too heavy. Trusting in a larger picture, even when it’s not visible. Allowing myself to be embraced by something greater than my own understanding.

Maybe it’s about going deeper.

  • Releasing what no longer serves us.
  • Letting go of old coping mechanisms that kept us small or stuck.
  • Learning new ways to show up for ourselves with love, patience, and presence.

Because how we meet ourselves right now… matters.

How we respond to our anxiety, our inner dialogue, and our fears — this is where the shift occurs.

Not by forcing ourselves to be “better”…
But by choosing to be more gentle.

So I’ll ask you once more, softly…
